Valentine Letter Recognition

Summary: Using big and small heart shapes, learn to match upper an lower case letters!

Description:

Using large and small hearts cut from poster board, construction paper, or purchase foam hearts at a craft store.  Write upper case letters on the large hearts, and lower case letters on the small hearts.  Put the upper case letters in a basket.  Scatter the lower case letters on a table, or the floor so that all of the letters are showing.  The children can take turns pulling a heart from the basket.  Then they can  find the match of upper case letter to the lower case letter on the small hearts on the table!
